Exploring (my) learning spaces

A learning space is a place where one can learn and focus.
Learning space can be everywhere. It is material and social, virtual and social, or all of the three at the same time: hybrid. There are different rooms for different needs. The rooms are designed and equipped differently. Learning space is flexible. I can change it, or I can find the room I need right now. There is room for formal or informal learning and working. There are rooms for quiet work and rooms for discussion. And there is room for reflection.

This is my first attempt to depict material and virtual space linked together. I chose some types of material space: library, café, home office, balcony, lecture hall, discussion round, and the virtual space represented in the cloud. There are links from one to another, as we can move in the material world by walking or any kind of transport. Except for the movement into virtual space, we just use the internet: hypertext, interaction, networked content and people. The virtual space is constantly accessible and present at all times. There are public and private spaces.
